New knot rings from a supreme local-to-Boston artist! Check out her stuff, my favorite is the anchor necklace. Miss Scott will be at the Sowa open market on the 15th along with heaps of cool artists, crafts, antiques and local produce! oh boy!

and then she got bangs

EASTER!
My family and I decided against the arduous search for candy and went with the time saving practice of placing all our favorite candies right on the table!

So I got board and got bangs. I went to a place called Liquid Hair Studio in Boston on hip and groovy Tremont street. Very cool place, lots of leopard print and purple velvet and they charge 30 bucks! I had Dana and it was the best hair cut I ever got. In this picture its a little funky from driving all the way to Maine with the window down. but rest assured, its awesome.
Dress- Old Navy
Belt- Target
Shoes- Second Time Around

More San Fransisco pictures! These were taken by Joey Jones in the De Young Museum in the middle of Golden Gate Park. Lots of traveling up and down hills with a very cute but very heavy suit case will make for a very simple outfit!
Leggings- Marshalls. These are nice because they are the soft stretchy kind instead of the more plasticky feeling spandex.
Shirt- H&M fitted at the bottom but nice and loose with slightly flowey arms. Very much love it. I got one in black in the same size but it is way smaller and shaped differently. Tricky tricky!
Shoes- Target, last year.

The Dorothy shoes

Whilst cruising around San Francisco on a vacation (the reason for a week with out posts) these shoes were found for me. These photos were taken by Tara Jones of Tarajonesphotography.

Blue flower dress- 12 bucks at Marshalls
Belt- Dots (one of those totally trashy clothing stores that has a plethora of pink glittery rhinestone crap but at which, you always find one or two great pieces for reeely cheap)
SHOES- Seychelles the Dorothy fit. Faaaantastic although expensive, 100 buckeroos. Not a problem if the rest of the outfit cost a whopping 17$!

Nothing beats a tourist trap beach in February! very windy but very sunny!
here we have just your every day outfit... like actually every day, I rarely take this off. Its good to have a go-to look! Black tee shirt, jeans, some kind of brown boot with a heel, huge belt buckle and huge earrings (the bigger the better) and a scarf with some kind of funky print.

Jeans- Star fit from H&M
Leather Jacket- From Target. Although not real, this jacket was one of my better purchases this winter. It has lasted the whole season, its not falling apart yet the fuzzy white inside has not gotten pilly and crappy yet and it blocks the wind as only "non-leather material" can. I like that they don't even list the materials, its just non-leather. Whatever that means. jello alpaca blend maybe?
Scarf- Stolen from my sister at a young age. Muhaha
Belt buckle- Given to me by my dearst sister.

Ok, For real now. No more two weeks between posts. Its two a week or more from here on out. Come Hell, high water, or house guests.
The craft show was fantastic! lots of interesting stuff. There were, in fact toilet seat covers but not crocheted at all. They were fringed and had pictures of the Madonna, guns and alike. Very cool. There were lots of things I could not afford that I desperately wanted. Such as a huge necklace with a sliver cast lump of barnacles from http://moniquerancourt.com/work.htm However I got these beautiful leather and feather earrings from http://www.flickr.com/photos/sarah_ressler/ for a reasonable 20 dollars. nice and big, just the way I like my earrings.
Coming up tomorrow, my valentines outfit!

Dress- H&M
Tights- Target (although they are really tight at the top)
Shoes- Forever 21 (impossibly slippery but come on, LOOK at them!)

Cabin Fever

Hooray! This thing is going to be amazing. "Craft show" congers images of dried flower arrangements those bizarre little country dolls and crochet toilet seat covers which maybe you need, who knows! But this is NOT that kind of craft show. Sorry but your toilet seats will have to go bare!
check out this link to see a sampling of the loverly stuff!

Bring on spring!! A bit chilly for this outfit here in Boston MA today but ahh well!
I love these boots ALOT. I got them for 50$ from Target. They are real leather (!) and look very much like Fryes. Sadly they only lasted a season. The sole is getting ground off but that's alot of wear and tear considering I never took them off.

White dress- A score at a clothing swap
Black petticoat- H&M lacy mini skirt
Belt, socks and boots- Target
Scarf- Goodwill

Terribly sorry, I am NOT a professional photographer. The dress was another find from the Buffalo Exchange, its black silk with white ruched detail. The deep V back and the slit sleeves are terrific, very dramatic. A little thin but when worn with spandex (love me some black spandex) it was perfect for a warm January night in Boston.

Silk dress and red boots - Buffalo Exchange Davis square Somerville MA
Brown belt - Target
Flower petal ring - Made by local Boston jeweler Anna Rasche.

Hoooo boy. Every one keeps telling me about this place called the Buffalo Exchange that just opened in Davis square Cambridge MA. I guess they are all over the country. Its like a Salvation Army trimmed down to just the "finds" not that I mind the digging. It is also located right next door to a Goodwill in case you need to fill your needs for a canary yellow polyester pant suit and old man pants. actually that doesn't sound half bad... maybe if the pant suite were GOLD! But I digress.
These boots were one of the four things I procured from this wonderful place. I currently have them on my feet and although my toes have gone temporarily (I hope) numb they will undoubtedly stretch to fit my footsies. the marvels of leather being what they are.
Outfit to match soon...

Off we go!
These pictures were taken by photographer Tara Jones http://tarajonesphotography.blogspot.com/ she came home to find me making feeble attempts to take my own picture and steped in to save me.
The brown velvet shoes are from Nomad, a local shop in porter square cambridge MA that has heaps of cool Mexican jewlery as well as clothes from Free People. They were having a sale and I got these for 50% off! Huzzah!
